Once you click done the ownership is transferred to the person you selected. **Note: if you are part of Google Apps, you cannot transfer Drive files outside of your domain. If you haven’t shared the file with anyone yet, you can add someone from the Share settings window that appears. Next, navigate to the file you want to transfer ownership of, right-click on it, and then select Share. Drive will confirm that you want to transfer ownership, click to approve the transfer.
